The Obsidian Series 800D is built to last through years of motherboard, power, memory, cooling, and component upgrades.
The steel structure has a matte black coating both inside out and is finished with a brushed aluminum faceplate for a professional look that’s both serious and awe-inspiring. A windowed side panel makes it easy to show off your work. Here at FrozenCPU we took the best of the best and incorporated it into an advanced dual loop performance geared liquid cooling system. First we took the XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay - DDC Dual Pump / Dual Split Reservoir and married it with dual MCP-350 pumps. This reservoir, even with both pumps mounted, only takes up two 5.25" bays and can be pulled out the front of the chassis to fill / refill as needed. As far as looks, there is no comparison to this unit. The black face plate can be removed to match up with any style chassis. The quality is exactly what you would expect from the folks at XSPC. Embedded brass screw threads are inserted into the plexi to ensure no cracking when mounting the bay reservoir. O-rings are also affixed to the sides to eliminate any pump vibration and other unwanted sounds. Three LED mount holes are set into the rear of the unit so you can illuminate the res using 5mm LEDs. Four G1/4" threaded ports make the unit compatible with any size system. Next we incorporated a variety of options for the CPU block. During conception the Swiftech XT was our choice but we have left that up to you to decide below! The radiators was chosen due to it's unwavering success, the HWL's Triple and HWL's Dual Radiators. Hardware Labs only uses the best materials for their radiators. The fins and water channels consist of high-grade copper (e-Cu). The water chambers consist of a brass alloy. We used 1/2" x 3/4" compression fittings through out to give this set-up optimal flexibility. The fact that this system is set up for two separate loops is what makes it so perfect for high end users. Your CPU can be cooled by the triple radiator exclusively while cooling your motherboard or VGA blocks be cooled by the second loop. Your imagination is the limit with two separate loops really!
