EK Supreme HF Universal CPU Liquid Cooling Block w/ LGA 2011 Hardware - Rev 3 - Acetal + Electroless Nickel Plated (EK-Supreme HF - Acetal+EN (Nickel))

EK-Supreme HF (high flow) water block for all socket CPU's has been designed for the hardest enthusiast user. After 2 successful years of EK-Supreme CPU water block, EK has released its successor. The EK-Supreme HF (high flow). Block is based on same concept as EK-Supreme.

The EK-Supreme HF cooling engine uses fin design. The water accelerates through thin jet plate channels through 49 very thin channels, which gives extreme cooling surface. The copper base is also very thin, which gives very short distance for temperature to transfer from CPU to water.

The new EK EN (Electroless Nickel Plating) Series of blocks are more resistant to corrosion and feature:
-Outstanding resistance to corrosion.
-Dimensionally uniform thickness to within 2 millionths of a millimeter.
-Highly adhesive and solderable.
-Very smooth and wear resistant.
-Hardness equal to hard chrome and greater than electrolytic nickel

Electroless nickel plating (EN) is an auto-catalytic chemical technique used to deposit a layer of nickel alloy on a solid workpiece, such as metal or plastic. The process relies on the presence of a reducing agent, which reacts with the metal ions to deposit metal. Due to increased corrosion resistance, the surface of nickel plating is not as shiny as standard Nickel Electroplating and has little darker tone. Throughout the years EN plating may become less bright.

Surement l''un des meilleur Waterblock Cpu 2011 en terme de performance Montage des plus simple Cependant il na pas de jet plat et être obligé de payer 20$ en plus pour avoir les vis de montage en noir c''est abusé pour cela 2 étoile en moins.

This block is easy to install, currently in a LGA 2011 setup and looks great! Overclocked CPU with idle temps 28-30C and 48-50C on load. As always, FrozenCPU has great service--usually receive items the next day!

Once again EK shows us they understand cooling products. This CPU block is the one you are looking for. The high flow fins in the block ensure great heat transfer, and the quality finish on this CPU block can centerpiece any top notch WC system.

No flow plates???

Product arrived quickly and in perfect condition but with no flow plates - same with vga version no flow plates. All other reviews show people opening boxes and taking out flow plates from within sealed package HEY WHATS THE DEAL???? Do you not offer flow plates?

This block looks incredible on my Maximus IV Extreme with red tubing, black coils and black compression fittings. The cooling quality is great, but that''s water cooling for you. Any of the blocks at FrozenCPU will cool nicely for you, but if it is a black block you''re looking for, this baby is what you want in your box hands down. The installation was very simple. The instructions were in plain English with lots of detailed pictures to help one understand what''s going on. The box had everything I needed to get this block installed on my 2600K. I did, however, purchase the optional 115x socket mounting bracket by EK (selectable upon adding to cart). EK is the Mercedes of water cooling, in my opinion, and along with the ease of installation and great packaging of accessories and installation guides, this is the perfect block for beginners and enthusiasts looking for serious durability and reliability in their water cooling.
