The Akasa 5.25" Four Channel Fan Control Pro is a multi-mode 5.25" panel with four fans speed controller and four temperature sensors. Fan Control PRO provides accurate fans speed adjustment between 6-12V and temperature monitoring up to 99°C. Easy layout screen provides information on selected fan speed and thermal probe temperature. Built in sound and visual alarm for fan fault or too high temperature. Ordered and installed in January- LCD screen stopped working by March (at least I didn''t notice until march because my computer is on the floor). Fan controllers still work, and so do the LCD color backlights- but the readout is nothing but jumbled mess. All the money spent on providing colored backplates would have been better spent on quality manufacturing. If there is a warranty to be honored, I will post back.

I haven''t used a fan controller before so I have no basis for comparison. Light is uneven on the LCD (which you can see in the picture); also it only changes for the LCD, not the fan control knobs. Aside from those small issues, I really like the unit although other similarly priced units have more features (such as memory card slots), but those may or may not be useful for some users.

But the LEDs are just too bright. I wish they were dimmable or at least had an off setting.
