This is a quality part but it does not work with the mounting hardware for the SSD bay(s) in a 800D case because the holes at the 3.5" rim are too close to each other. Use a Scythe BayMaster adapter instead.

Overall, the Akasa 3.5" Bay to Dual 2.5" HDD / SSD Aluminum Adapter works well. The only issue I had was with the size of the case screw holes (I have a Lian Li PC-A71F, it uses special thumbscrews), but with some minor modifications using a threading tap everything worked out well.

this is an excellent product, great build quality, nice metal finish and it comes with a thermal pad. the only draw back is the 3.5 bay screw holes seem to be smaller than the standard. my case is a thermal take element S and it uses special screws to mount the 3.5 disks in the cage... those screws won''t fit in the akasa''s adapter! it should have been of a universal dimensions i guess.
