I have 3 of these power supplies for my computers. Even before custom sleeving came out, or if you don''t want custom sleeving this is a beauty. I recommend your own research, but after reading 3 or 4 reviews - the excellent ripple tolerances to each channel and connectors makes this quite simply a top of the line well built power supply. (You can feel the quality the moment you lift it out of the box) - I have been sold ever since my first purchase.
I haven''t needed anything over 1200 watts even with three AMD/ATI video cards in cross-fire mode, delta 5000 rpm fans, and ASUS Republic of Gamer motherboards. Side note: Some folks like single rail, I like multiple rails. I also have a silverstone 1500 watt that I use on my test bench which also works very well - but the AX1200 series is by far the best power supplies I''ve purchased.
Noise level is very tolerable with the large 140mm top fan. Individual cable insertion, and removal is not cumbersome.
Spend the coin and get the best - I can''t praise this beauty enough.
Powerful, but Noisy

Pros: Single 12V rail is what i was after due to my unique watercooling setup and high AMP draws across multiple SATA/Molex connectors (for the pumps and fans), along with the (3) 580 Hydro Copper 2 cards it had to push!
My APC 1500VA UPS unit is screaming "Overload!" now because it hits 1.18 kWh at peak. Dang!
Cons: Very Noisy! I spent months slowly planning the ultimate "drop-pin" quiet setup, and I achieve that with my current build of large radiators in the case that were specifically matched to the airflow of the 140mm fans I use, and the flow of the two pumps in series to generate a specific flowrate at a low 10% usage (can''t hear pumps).
Turns out all was fraught because of the "idle" volume of this Corsair AX1200 PSU.
Specifically, it''s the high pitch whining others are complaining (whining?) about. So freaking annoying to my ears. If it wasn''t the whining, it''d get a 5 but it''s enough for me to knock an egg off because I didn''t know it was THAT loud.
Now, if you have several high end GPUs in SLI or Crossfire air-cooled, some loud radiator fans on your oversized rads, then you won''t hear a peep from this PSU (because everything else will be drowning it out)! But, if you are building a quiet PC, look elsewhere.
Other Thoughts: I did tons of research on 3-way compatible PSU units with reviews. I ultimately decided on this one because of the single 12V rail, opposed to the rail issues other PSU units had.
It seems the reviews on just about any 3-way PSU is a hit or miss (70 to 80% say Yay, the rest say Nay due to some problem). The one I got was fine, except for the noise I should have been warned about.
Now, on the lookout for a PSU shootout about noises.
Or, to disassemble this unit and put in a quieter fan perhaps (hopefully that is what is making the noise?).
This things GREAT!

With a short extension off the 12v rail I can now jump start the car when the girlfriend leaves the lights on with enough left over to run my dual quad core sli. Changed my life forever.

I have sticke''d with PcPowerCooling for years (510SLi, bought here too) and loved the legendary stability and performance of it. With the urge of more watts and the "death" of PcPC, i begin researching and finally found this almight power supply. Build quality is amazing and it''s whisper quiet, installation was flawless and in 5 minutes it was running, without any issues so far(and i dont believe i could have any)
