Frequency adapter board and power cable for the INS-FM17N flow meter. The Koolance ADT-FM03 Flow Meter Frequency Adapter is a frequency circuit that multiplies the RPM signal to allow it to be read by most fan tachometer headers (such as those found on ATX motherboards). This signal is intended to allow fan detection software (including BIOS) to enable the appropriate alarm or shutdown procedure if the flow meter impeller stops rotating. The "RPMs" represent approximate flow meter coolant in mL/min, and not revolutions.

Bought this for my fan controller and flow indicator and this item works as advertised. It''s also small so it can be easily hidden in any case.

I was against purchasing this as all I needed was a flow indicator. I couldn''t be happier, I built an external cooling system an with this fitted, my pc will not boot unless I have water flow to protect it. Great product.

You must buy this to use the turbine meter head. Reads out in cc/min when using a standard RPM fan speed monitor. I use the Thermal Star thermometer/fan speed monitor sold here, and this works great to sound an alarm if my flow rate drops. Have had a few false alarms, but these last for only a second or so and are read glitches in the electronics (flow never stopped).
