With transfer speed of up to 3.0Gb/s eSATA is up to six times faster than traditional external interfaces like USB or IEEE1934.

To protect against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and provide excellent compatibility this eSATA cable connector has an increased insertion depth from the standard 6.6 to 10.0mm. Additional high impedance insulation is used on all wires and connectors ensuring all electro magnetic interference (EMI) are blocked out.
