iv had them in my computer for about a week now, when i originally bought them i was just looking for something that would move allot of air and would last, i didn''t and still don''t care if it sounds like there is a C130 in my case, but to my surprise these fans are vary quiet, i bought 5 of them to put in my switch 810, now the only thing i can here is the roar of the 4 gpus when im bench-marking them, these are a great fans and i would definitely recommend them to someone els.

I currently use these 140 mm Bgears and XSPC fans on my Black Ice Sr-1 420 and 280 radiators. I wrote a review on the performance I have seen with the XSPC fans which is located here at the ''frozen one'' XSPC fan page. After getting these Bgears I swapped out the XSPC fans and tested the Bgears to see if they performed better than the XSPC fans. After testing I found that the Bgears were a .5 to 1 degree better in performance. Mind you, the Bgears were running at max 1800 rpm to achieve this. I would also like to add that there was a slight hum from the Bgears but this hum wasn''t due to the motor but rather the air movement as it quickly went away at a lower rpm. I personally don''t consider the slight hum a noise in anyway. The XSPC ran at 1450 rpm and accomplished the amazing cooling on my radiators as I mentioned in that review. The Bgears at the same rpm as the XSPC fans had the same performance so I conclude that both fans are on par and both move a lot of air. Speaking of air movement let me say this; I have used Prolimatech, Gelid, Xigmatek and Cooler master 140 mm fans to cool my setup and none of them moves the amount of air off the radiators as the Bgears or the XSPC fans. Yep, all those other fans are case fans and that''s it. All my fans have been tested in vertical and horizontal positions for good air flow and motor noise. By doing the hand test (put my hand in front the fan) and the thread test (put a piece of thread in front the fan) I was able to test for adequate air movement on the radiators and I found that only the Xigmatek and the Gelid made some impression on performance. With my previous setup the Xigmatek cooled my 5970 on the 280 rad, and the Prolimatech push\\Gelid pull my 2600k on the 420 rad. With room temps @80''F and no overclocking I saw my 2600k cpu idle@ 28''C & 38-39''C while HD gaming, and my gpu1/2 was 32/38''C. I place the Xigmatek on the 420 radiator to push and XSPC\\Bgears pull separately and put the Gelid on the 280 to pull and Xigmatek to push. Now with higher room temp @82''F the cpu temps were 27''C idle and 35''C while HD gaming. When the room temps were back to 80''F while using the XSPC and the Bgears I saw cpu temps at 33-34''C, that''s a 5 degree improvement over the previous setup. You can''t go wrong with any of these two fans Bgears and the XSPC. I can now feel a lot of air moving from my radiators even at 12 inches away from them, these are great fans. I don''t mind the hum that the maxed out Bgears make as it''s not enough to be considered noisy by any means. I currently use these Bgears fans on my 420 rad in a horizontal position to pull air and they move a ton of air without any motor noise. You also have the option to tone them down a bit if you so desire with a fan controller of course. I highly recommend them to anyone. It would be nice for Frozencpu to put the manufacturer warranty on these products as it helps with purchase decisions. Thanks

after hours of research and cost, the BGears 140 are top-motch fans for case fans and radiator fans. with an aggressive blade pitch, yes they are loud on 12-volts. at 7-volts they still are monsters and much quieter. for the price this should be a top seller in 140 fans, especially arc midi case builders. i''ve got ''em in intake for now, till i can get the 280 rad for the front and now they will be the radiator fan as well.. you won''t be sorry buying these.

These are great fans. I bought 5 to put in my Coolermaster 690 II case. They blow alot of air and keep my temps low. Only concern is the noise and build quality. These things are loud especially when you have 5 and no fan controller. The package says it is from the US but it feels cheap. I accidentally broke one of the blades of the fans just by putting a little pressure on it. Crazy glue fixed it but i still think my old Coolermaster r4 fans are better built.

Fan controller is telling me this is running at 2010 r/pm I personally think it runs better then my high speed yates that''s 140mm
