The BGears 140mm to 120mm Slim Profile Fan Adapter - Black is an adapter allowing you to utilize a 140mm fan in a normal 120mm mounting frame. A very handy adapter when trying to lower your overall noise in your case. Larger fans can be run at lower RPMs for the same performance thus creating less noise.

Abit flimsy & twist while screwed on, but takes even ball head screws. (the plastic around screw hole is wide enough)
note if your buying this for a roof panel adapter take in account that the adapter itself will take up space in hight of about 10mm, (0.39") SO DON''T FORGET TO TAKE IT IN ACCOUNT OF TOTAL WIDTH.
good enough.

Does what it does, though the 120mm fan opening isn''t quite sized right, leaving gaps where it connects to the 120mm. I''d say this is better for use with 140mm, for focusing airflow. Flexible mounting holes on the 140 end are a nice touch. Also it comes with a set of four screws of a size completely un-related to this adapter or any fan. It was like "here''s some tiny screws you can use for something else."
Versatile and very effective on 140mm radiators!

These BGears 140mm to 120mm fan adapters are effective when using 120mm fans on 140mm radiators, I''m using my Gentle Typhoon''s (1850rpm) on my SR1 560 140mm radiator! If you are considering this option to be effective you must buy some 1/8" inch "Rubber Foam Weatherseal" aka Sponge Tape as this will fill in the air gaps between the adapter and 120mm fan, the GT''s showed a performance benefit using these BGears adapter in Martin210 140mm Fan Testing on a HWlabs SR1 Radiator Round 7!
