I needed to purchase this sleeving because I was given about 16 120mm fans and 6 80mm fans from a friend who scrapped a server. None of the fans had the convention molex connector need and had to be spliced with 3-pin connectors. This sleeving did the job, and it did it perfectly. I did a few in single wire sleeving and a few in 3 wire sleeving and both turned out really nice. I would recommend and purchase again.

Kobra HD sleeve is a good alternative to sd sleeve, but it has to be used carefully to get the best results. For re-sleeving projects it will only totally hide 26awg or smaller wires, 16-18awg wires will show through and distort the perceived colour of the sleeve. For 16-18awg wires I recommend you use the same sleeve and wire colour. At the very least use a dark sleeve with a dark wire and light sleeve with a light wire colour to minimise the colour distortion. If you get the above right, you’ll get an excellent result quickly and easily. That has to be the biggest advantage of Kobra HD sleeve, it’s so quick and easy to work with, perfect for anyone without the skill, experience and time to use other HD sleeves on the market.

This stuff is just right for single sleeving, but it can fray a bit when you first get the wire in. Flexes just enough to get the job done quick, and is very dense...I can''t see any color of the wires through it, and the color is very rich. Wish they would get some more in....

Great coverage for those bright colored cables. Has a slight sheen on it that looks great with case lighting. This size is perfect for single braiding your PSU wires (16-18 gauge) It will expand to about a 1/4" to get over pin connections and doubled wires (PCI-E 6+2 cables for example) but not much more than that and the wire color will hint through if you pull it tight. You can make this size work on your smaller fan wire (mines 26 gauge) just heat shrink down one side and pull it tight with a very slight twist and it cinches right down. Cut ends will fray a tad, but if you touch the end with a lighter flame it holds together great. I''m extremely pleased with the quality and appearance, in fact, I just bought another 60'' to single braid every wire in my case. :)
