Designed specifically for the MCP35X pump, this optional reservoir features 2 inlet ports for parallel loop splitting, and 6 different body orientations for convenient tube routing; the reservoir can be rotated to align the inlet ports at 12 o'clock, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 o'clock.
Revision 2 of the MCP35X reservoir is now shipping. It supports compression fittings for up to 3/4" (tube OD) as shown in main image, and features an additional port inside of the fill-cap, that can be used to install a remote fill-port.
Rev 2b has a change in material. The fill cap has changed from chrome plated brass to black Delrin.

Cracking...

I thought that the cracking problems had been resolved, but unfortunately they have not. After running this reservoir for about three weeks, I have numerous cracks resulting in a very slow leak. It''s also worth mentioning that with a powerful pump, it is not a great reservoir for eliminating bubbles. Stay away from this res.
Cracking Problems HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED!

I got this last 02/25 along w/ the MCP35X pump, first issue I had is bleeding.. the pump is strong enough to suck in bubbles right back on and the reservoir isn''t tall enough as well. and second after 3months I planned on selling the pump and reservoir together and switch to a bay reservoir+pump combo instead but I noticed that there is some honeycomb like pattern appeared and some small cracks. at first I thought they were just scratches and the honey comb like patter is just dried up coolant, tried on wiping them down and they are not what I thought they are. its the acrylic being very fragile. this thing hasn''t been treated right to ensure that the cracking won''t happen. if you got the money and want the MCP35X pump, go for the FrozenQ Bay reservoir instead.. ignore this piece of crap.
cracking problems been solved

previous customers who bought this complained about the acrylic cracking, that problem has been solved I believe as I haven''t seen any sign of this problem.
on the other note, if you gonna pair this w/ MCP35X pump, the pump is pretty strong that getting it to pump water w/o mixing air bubbles w/ it is pretty impossible unless you run the pump at lower RPM. I would suggest getting a bigger reservoir for the liquid to go around before it goes thru the pump so that would remove the possibilities of air bubbles going thru the loop.

Well, this would be one hell of a nice res if it didn''t have one problem; it leaks. It not only leaks from the top, but from the side ports. I''ve tried changing fittings, o-rings you name it. When the system powers off, the excess pressure makes the top leak and the side fittings leak.
I would not recommend this reservoir!
Extensive hairline cracking, trapped bubbles cavitate

My reservoir has extensive cracking appearing along the entire square face near the two inlets. I have not overtightened those fittings or damaged the threads in any way.
I also understand the purpose of the foam in the bottom is to stop vortexes, but it also keeps bubbles trapped for days. You can hear a pop/snap when they finally make it through the pump and on their way out. I haven''t had a similar issue with previously used pumps.
Next, the early verion of the pump had a solid top and no fillport. The lid hand-tightened when cool would not come loose when hot, or when tightened hot, would leak air and bubbles when cool. That''s not a big issue provided you''re not draining/filling your system frequently.
