A Full cover block for reference design GeForce 580 GTX graphic card.

Base is made of electroless nickel plated electrolytic copper. Top is made of quality POM material. The sealing is preformed by quality rubber washers. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x8mm DIN7985 screws.

Enclosed is also a GPU reinforcer. A metal plate which is mounted around the GPU with M3×4 screws and reinforces the PCB for perfect GPU contact with Water block without unwanted PCB bending.

Fittings can be used on both side of the block (up and down) and 2 plugs are enclosed!

The new EK EN (Electroless Nickel Plating) Series of blocks are more resistant to corrosion and feature:
-Outstanding resistance to corrosion.
-Dimensionally uniform thickness to within 2 millionths of a millimeter.
-Highly adhesive and solderable.
-Very smooth and wear resistant.
-Hardness equal to hard chrome and greater than electrolytic nickel

Electroless nickel plating (EN) is an auto-catalytic chemical technique used to deposit a layer of nickel alloy on a solid workpiece, such as metal or plastic. The process relies on the presence of a reducing agent, which reacts with the metal ions to deposit metal. Due to increased corrosion resistance, the surface of nickel plating is not as shiny as standard Nickel Electroplating and has little darker tone. Throughout the years EN plating may become less bright.

Great Block!! I don''t know about the other people but it lowered my temp from around 10c only made my cpu go up 4c (single loop). But that is not bad since my cpu is oc''ed at 5.0ghz.

Like ALL EK block I have purchased (5 now) this is as equally flawless! Definately recommend and on a good loop this with help you have a more stable OC!!! I must not understand what the other review meant by not helping the OC factor.... Either which way I can get out to 925 on the core with this and I peak at about 70°C which is cool!!

Great block. Quality of product is top notch and everything was as expected. The only complaint I have is the installation. You are required to use these little plastic tubes between the block and pcb and I feel these should of been attached to the block itself. Instructions say to put TIM paste on them to help them stay in place, lol. Another complaint are thermal pads, I feel for the they should be pre-cut for the specific card. Single loop idle 28C load 40C 1.213V 900/1800/2100

I can say the installation of this block was simple. Temps are running at 35 C. This is down from 75 C on air. Plus, no fan noise. It did not really help OC of card. So if you are looking to reduce case heat and noise this is for you. Brought the heat up on my single loop up about 8 C. If you can live with that go for it. If not add a second loop.
