The XSPC RayStorm High Performance Acetal CPU Liquid Cooling Block is a performance based CPU liquid cooling block for Intel's LGA Series Socket motherboards. With G1/4 threads and specifically designed for multi-core CPU's this block is a great upgrade! Compatible with larger compression fittings (1/2 x 3/4 compatible) you can install this into any existing build or start of a new system with a top of the line block.
The Raystorm has support for 4 x 3mm LEDs making color customization easy.
The RayStorm tested an incredibly low restriction rate compared to other top contenders and shouldn't be taken lightly. This block is a top performer and shows up admirably in the thermal department. Combining these together gives a great block at an affordable price!
Note: Block comes without fittings, they are available in options below.
The Raystorm Intel Block comes with LGA 2011 Fixing Set stock now.

I was skeptical about this block at first but my new 5920K at 4.5ghz peaks at around 145°F and idles at 93°F. The LED''s I thought were a gimmick but tried them out anyway and OMG they look awesome and really draw your attention to it. I purchased red LED''s to match my color scheme. Could not recommend more highly!
One last note, don''t forget to remove the clear plastic protective covering on the block. It''s totally clear and thin and could be overlooked easily!
Leaking...

So, I started off by putting in my compression fittings, and to my surprise, the right hole what threaded a bit inclined, so one side of the fitting goes down more than the other, and that side is now leaking... The fitting is ULTRA tight, and will not go more, so no, it is not too loose.
Great cheap CPU cooler

Bought this to use in my brand new loop for 60$ and it beats the socks of my H100i. I understand there in different leagues but this is great for any water loop. Keeps my i7 3820 (4.2GHz) around 26c idle and 51c load.
Looks sweet!

First water loop install went well block went in easy. Base had a scratch on it so minus a point. Looks sweet though and fits monsoon 1/2x3/4 compressions just
enough just use some hot water on tubes.

I put this on my 3930k and it does a great job, I have a casual overclock of 4.3GHz and it stays around 28-32C on idle. Stock at 3.2 it runs at around 26-28C idle. I clipped off the LEDs it came with and soldered on some red ones, looks awesome.
