The XSPC RayStorm High Performance Acetal CPU Liquid Cooling Block is a performance based CPU liquid cooling block for AMD Series Socket AM2, AM2+, AM3 and FM1 motherboards. With G1/4 threads and specifically designed for multi-core CPU's this block is a great upgrade! Compatible with larger compression fittings (1/2 x 3/4 compatible) you can install this into any existing build or start of a new system with a top of the line block.
The Raystorm has support for 4 x 3mm LEDs making color customization easy.
The RayStorm tested an incredibly low restriction rate compared to other top contenders and shouldn't be taken lightly. This block is a top performer and shows up admirably in the thermal department. Combining these together gives a great block at an affordable price!
Note: Block comes without fittings, they are available in options below.

This block has been used now on a Phenom II X6 1100t at 4 with a 4.2 turbo and on a FX-8350 at 4.7 and boy am I satisfied with its performance. My Phenom II idled at 29 (After being on for an hour) and under load never exceeded 60 (Prime 95 4 hours) and my FX idles 23 load 56 (Same testing). Just a fantastically fitting wblock thats simple to install/use.
My one complaint is that while it comes with cool lights and stuff, it only gives the option for blue (Which my color scheme is red). But thats an easy fix.
I recommend this for anyone who wants to overclock/run a processor super cool.
Got with Kit.

I got this block with the Raystorm D5 kit, and it is great. Combed with the Bay res/D5 and a EX420 rad my 1090t idles at 2C over ambient! Under Intel Burn Test, it only climbs to only 13C over ambient.
The only downside I could find was that the plexiglass top plate flexes a lot with the mounting hardware cranked all the way down. I would of liked a metal plate over plexi.
Superb!

it is as tested by the overclocking sites, this thing is on average 3C cooler than an XSPC Rasa block, and this thing got higher flow rate so if you are aiming for multiple blocks in a loop then this thing would help you big time. nice option to put LED to make it look smexier but dun even bother using the LED that comes w/ it. find a lower profile LED light to put in this block if you want to light it up.
