The Corsair 650D chassis is a perfect solution to add your water cooling parts to. Why add them yourself? We already did, taking into account the space, performance and convenience into our selections. This version is dual loop ready allowing completely separate loops for your VGA and CPU components.
First we mounted a Stealth dual 140mm rad on the top with a pair of Thermalright 140mm Silent fans. The combination of using 140mm fans and the quality of the Thermalright brand keeps this set-up extremely quiet. Next we used a beefy EK HF Supreme Block in Full Copper both for looks and performance. This block is compatible with all major sockets and can handle any workload you throw in front of it. The bottom radiator is a GTX dual 120mm and we powered those with a pair of Thermalright fans well at 1000 RPMs. Either bottom or top rad can be used for VGA or CPU cooling making this a very versatile set up. We powered the case with a pair of Swiftech MCP355 pumps so you dont have to worry about enough flow in each loop. These pump can handle multiple blocks with ease and doesn't miss a beat. We combined this with the simplicity of the XSPC Bay reservoir to save room for the real hardware you plan to pack in this beast. We used the larger 1/2" x 3/4" XSPC tubing as it is very kink resistant and is very durable. The color sets the whole case off with a nice bright color yet in small quantity. We installed a from illuminated switch to control the dual Phobya 30cm UV strips as well as the reservoir tailed LEDs. We coordinate these LEDs to match whatever tubing color you select. Blue tubing...blue LEDs... ect. If you are looking for a liquid cooled case with the performance you need for both VGA and CPU... Here it is!
