The Accelero XTREME Plus II is here to satisfy overclockers with unmatched cooling performance while doing it in total silence.
Employing the award-winning design of the Accelero XTREME series, the Accelero XTREME Plus II comes with 300 Watts of cooling capacity, which gives plenty of headroom for overclocking. It is comprised of an 83-fin aluminum heatsink with 5 copper heatpipes to deliver superior cooling performance. Pre-applied with our flagship thermal compound MX-4, efficient heat dissipation of the components are guaranteed.
The Accelero XTREME Plus II comes with the non-conductive G-1 thermal glue which is used to affix RAM and VR heatsinks on the VGA board. It is especially formulated to offer excellent thermal conductivity with long-lasting adhesiveness of over 10 years. Moreover, removing the G-1 is as easy as removing a thermal tape.
With three PWM-controlled 92 mm fans, the Accelero XTREME Plus II cools efficiently and silently. Thanks to the PWM control, the fan spins according to the temperature of the GPU. This means that the fans just spin up if necessary and will rest at minimum speed otherwise. PWM settings can be modified to fix the priorities between performance and noise. Click here to see how PWM settings work.
Aside from it being CrossFire and SLI compatible, the Accelero XTREME Plus II comes with a versatile and interchangeable mounting mechanism along with 31 RAM and VR heatsinks to fit different models. New accessory sets will be available to make the VGA cooler compatible with future models.

My Evga GTX 480 with the stock (overclocked to 780 core clock mem 1955, 1050mV) would idle around 50c and load would get up to 93c, with the fan at 80% and loud! With the new cooler I have overclocked the card even further (851 core clock, 2095 mem clock, 1063mV) and now the card idles at 39 and jumps to 74c. That is nearly 20c cooler than with the reference, after hefty increase in overclock! And the best part is that the fan is only at 65% at that temp, and even at 100% the fan is hardly audible.
Amazing cooler

I had seen excellent reviews on this cooler so I decided to order it to replace the stock cooler on my GTX 570. Installation was difficult being as that the copper heat pipes did not have enough space because of the 2 DVI''s stacked on top of each other, so I have to make a slight modification. Regardless of the installation issue i still give this card 5 stars easy especially since it is the a defect with the manufacturer. As for temps this cooler went far beyond my expectations. My idle temps didnt not change much since they were already low (35-40*C) on stock, I am getting about 28-35*C on this cooler. My old cooler would also get some high temps of 70-90*C now that I have this cooler my temps have not succeeded 60*C i usually sit around 50-55*C with my gpu MAXED out at 99%. This is an incredible difference. As for noise levels this card is no disappointment, While the fans are at 85% (max that is allowed on MSI afterburner) you can not here much noise at all from the cooler. Im sure most of you have coolers that make a high pitched annoying sound once the RPM''s go up but not this one. I would highly recommend this cooler to anybody looking to improve idle and load temps on there GPU and eliminate almost all of the noise coming from the card.
