The FrozenCPU development team has introduced a sleek new design that keeps liquid cooling simple and yet still high end performance based. The SilverStone Temjin TJ09 was the perfect platform to use and we integrated a full plug and play liquid cooling system.
We started with a Black Ice GT Stealth 240 Radiator - Black and utilized the optional factory mounting bracket RadSupport09 to fit this rad up in the top portion of the chassis. We paired the radiator with a couple Bitfenix 120mm fans with their good static pressure to keep the rad cool.
We followed that up with an Alphacool VPP variable speed pump (D5 offspring) to ensure top end flow rates along with making this set-up future proof for additional waterblocks and components should you chose to need more! We opted for the XSPC bay reservoir to keep this beast of a pump out of the way and making the system extremely easy to fill and prime.
For the CPU block we just had to use the new Swiftech Apogee HD block as it is LGA 2011 ready and is at the top of the food chain performance wise. Couple this block with Bitspower compression fittings in all black with the most UV reactive tubing in the business, the XSPC, and you have a very sleek looking set-up. Not only can this build turn heads but also can handle all your cooling needs with room to expand!
We next took a pair of Phobya UV LED strips and hardwired them to a front panel illuminated switch along with tailed LEDs for the front Bay reservoir in matching colors! This gives a great glow and makes the UV reactive tubing explode with color!
The SilverStone Temjin TJ09 Tower Case is the first SilverStone chassis designed with graphics card cooling as one of the priorities. To meet this challenge, a brand new mid-section air duct was created to bypass the hard drive cage, allowing the strategically placed 120mm to draw cool air from outside of the chassis and blow it directly onto the expansion slot area. CPU and hard drives are also cooled exclusively by 120mm fans to maximize airflow while reducing noise. Covered in styling reminiscent of beautiful chassis of years past, the TJ 09' s advanced structure is second in stiffness only to the unibody designed TJ07. If you have been waiting for a chassis with plenty of technical and aesthetic excellence worthy of an upgrade, then the TJ09 is the one.
