The H20-X20 "Edge" series liquid cooling kits represent a true revolution in the world of liquid cooling. In effect, for the first time ever they combine Swiftech's extreme performance features with an ease of installation and a versatility that will allow all users, beginners and hard core enthusiasts alike to take full advantage of all the benefits afforded by liquid cooling. Each kit is composed of only two elements: -The patent pending MCR X20 Drive Rev3 which combines radiator, reservoir, and pump into one unit and is also available for sale separately; -The all new Apogee HD waterblock. Just like a CPU fan, the pump can also be set on Auto, and be fully managed by the motherboard. Thanks to its unprecedented head pressure, the MCP35X pump is ideal to run several devices in the loop such as additional water-blocks for VGA cooling applications, and/or extra radiators.
Case Compatibility
Swiftech scouted the web and various forums to identify cases that are compatible for preferably "bolt-on" internal installation, or with very minor modifications; we also contacted various case manufacturers and enquired which of their models would be compatible. Here is a compilation of what we found at the time of this publication; please note that the (*) next to the listed models indicates that they were either validated by us, or listed as compatible by their respective manufacturers. Swiftech does not guarantee the accuracy of the provided information for models that we have not validated in house. Installation Guide External Installation

Superior Performance at low noise levels
- With their copper & brass radiators, most powerful DC pump in its size class on the market, and the new Apogee™ HD waterblock, the H20x20 Edge kits deliver superior performance at low to barely audible noise levels.
Fine-tuning Right Out of the Box
- No extra fan or pump controller is needed: you can fine-tune your cooling system by simply connecting the pump to the motherboard and controlling it with the PWM function. Fan speed can also be controlled using either the motherboard, or the included fan speed adapters.
Versatility
- Modularity and superior performance headroom allow the addition of multiple liquid cooled graphics cards, while still enjoying low temps!
- Multi-port features: building an advanced high-flow liquid cooling system is now easier than ever!
Ease of Installation, anywhere and for anyone!
- In terms of installation, the only thing that really differentiates the H20-x20 Edge kit from other all-in-one kits is that you need to attach two hoses, and fill-it up with coolant. This step only takes 5 minutes, and can be performed outside the case: simply use our pre-mixed coolant to fill-up the system.
- Let's face it, fitting a large radiator inside a case is not always a simple bolt-on. Swiftech includes several sets of hardware to ease the task of hanging the radiator in multiple fashions as well as extra accessories to create an external fill-port in the chassis upper panel for easy access to the radiator fill-port.
- When internal installation is not possible, the MCB-120 "Radbox" can be used to install the radiator at the back of practically any mid-or full tower cases.
- New to Watercooling? No Problem: in addition to the comprehensive installation guide, a CD is included with no less than twenty-four 3D models showing fully detailed configurations (free 3D viewer included). You can see see some examples in the support section of this page.
Low Maintenance
- Check the level once a year for safety, add some coolant every two years or more. Any computer needs at least some dusting once in a while: this will keep it at it's peak performance. So when dusting your fans, adding some coolant is no more complicated or troublesome than opening up a fill-port and pouring some coolant in the built-in reservoir.
Ugradability
- You will be able to keep the core cooling system (Radiator & Pump) for many years to come even when new CPU form factors appear on the market that necessitate changing your water-block.
Reliability
- The H20-X20 Edge kits are backed by Swiftech's 10 years of experience in the field of liquid cooling, and a pump rated for 50,000 hours MTBF, which has a proven track record for its reliability and hundreds's of thousands of units installed in the field over a period of 8 years.
Easy Service
- There is no possible DIY maintenance with factory-sealed kits. In contrast, all the parts in the H20-X20 Edge HD kits can be easily swapped by the user, thus reducing down-time.
Support
- With 10 years of experience designing, manufacturing and setting up liquid cooling systems, Swiftech® customer service can assist you in setting up and troubleshooting your system 6 days a week, 12 hours a day; in addition, the product is now backed by a 3 year limited warranty for your peace of mind.
Reasonable price for a high-end cooling system
- Thanks to volume manufacturing, we are now in a position to offer the H20-x20 Edge kits at a considerably reduced price compared to earlier itterations or the product.

While functionally there is nothing wrong with this kit, it actually is very well built; pump isn''t loud, fans put out so much air it''s actually chilly sitting next to my tower, I don''t even find them loud and they run at 12V 24/7, and has more than enough hardware to suit your needs. I did find it a bit disheartening that the Apogee HD water block had some pretty sizable deformities in the surface (which doesn''t seem to be the norm from what I''ve read online); while they don''t seem to be affecting performance, I can''t help but wonder how much better it would do if I lapped the surface. Additionally the kit does not include AMD mounting hardware (product doesn''t say it does; just fyi) when I received my AMD kit, there are plastic spacers used to space the block a predetermined distance from the MoBo while retaining your stock back plate. The huge problem was that my spacers were too long. I could NOT get the screws to bite into the nuts on the back plate and after just mocking up the pieces without the retaining springs I could actually see light through the gap between the block and CPU die and the screws couldn''t reach the nuts still! Luckily I was able to modify my old Tuniq Extreme 120 mounting hardware to fill my needs, but that''s just a big no-no, things should be made within specs.
Multiple problems with this unit. Very Loud!

This unit when you run the pump at speeds fast enough to cool is VERY loud.
Also the many of the holes on the radiator are not tapped.
I am so sorry I bought this unit. It sounds great a all in one... but do not get it if you have a heavy duty cooling job.
The CPU block is Great, fans are quiet. But almost unusable... I will have to replace this with something else to get the job done.
pump is very noisy.

had to rma it to Swiftech, frozen weren''t much help except that they agreed with me.they could hear the pump in the background when we were on the phone.also the fan mount holes in the radiator were a little small,I had to re-tap all the holes to get the screws started.a real pain] the cheep fittings that came with the unit wouldn''t start straight in the radiator, they wanted to cross-thread.I used some good ones I had in the junk box
