Alphacool DC-LT ceramic 12 Volt pump is a compact pump with lots of steam under the hood!
Water cooling generally is not only for Big towers and the high-end sector. Barebones, HTPC and Desktop systems also profit greatly from a liquid cooling system. Here extreme overclocking is not the goal, but rather total silence in the system.
Besides the fans, which are extremely quiet to silent thanks to the water cooling system, the pumps are another noise emitting element. Not with this pump! The DC-LT is much quieter than the majority of the competition and still powerful enough to cool CPU and GPU with ease. A ceramic shaft promises a long lifespan and permanently smooth operation.
This is also a great solution for console liquid cooling due to it's extremely small size!
This is the currently most compact water cooling pump for computer cooling!
Note Pump top, Reservoir, and fittings are NOT included and available in the options below. Using the reservoir top requires the Plexi top to install the pump.

It''s good if you can keep the leads from falling off.06-13-2013

I have had this pump for a little over a month and have re-soldered the leads 3 times now. I''ll just stick with D5s from now on.
Great Little Pump!01-25-2013

Just Installed this in my New ITX build. This is a great little pump so far. Even at 12v as long as you have it mounted with some rubber grommets its not that loud. If you turn it down to 6v it''s inaudible.

be sure you dont get the bottom of this pump wet. it has a weak backing and water can easily get in this pump and fry it.

Make sure to properly align the device to the reservoir and don''t over tighten screws and it works just fine. It is a smaller pump so it''s not designed for a large payload. You may also try reducing the voltage to the pump by getting a pump controller. All in all a good pump small pump for a small loop. I hit my XBOX 360 with one of these and a single fan radiator for a nice 1/2" ID loop. Kudos on being compact!

I got two of these pumps in an attempt to replace my d5 pump because these attach directly to the reservoir and can work serially. 1st, do not attach these too tight to the reservoir. The little ceramic motor won''t spin making you think they don''t work. 2nd, it is frustrating trying to find the happy middle ground where the screws are not so loose that you have a leak, but not too tight that the pumps don''t work. 3rd, the pumps make a lot of noise. I completely bled the loop and tightened the screws to the pump as much as I could and they still hum a lot. The one pro these have is that when they are operating serially they move a lot of water!
