The Thermalright HR-55 Heatpipe Chipset Cooler is designed for the latest Socket motherboard platforms running SLI or Crossfire video card setups. Using the new Wild Fire fan design, the HR-55 features increased surface area for heat dissipation with any 80mm fan. The cooler also features an improved retention mechanism that provides a sturdier base and better motherboard compatibility. The fins also feature proprietary holes for efficient ventilation. The fins, heatpipe and nickel-plated copper base are soldered together for the best thermal conductance.
