I chose this reservoir and pump for my first venture into water cooling and I am very happy. Installation and filling has proved to be a breeze and I really enjoy the brushed aluminum finish. My original plan going in was to set the pump at full speed and control it with a channel on a fan controller (Lamptron FC9, also purchased here) to find the ideal compromise between flow rate and noise. However, I have yet to turn it down because I cannot hear it while it is running. Every now and again I still mess with the channel it is on to make sure it is still running (seriously, it''s that quiet)and I smile every time. Priming and bleeding my system has not been a problem and besides the usual requirements of installing the o-ring on the pump and connecting the tubing, this thing really did work well right out of the box.
My one complaint is that the LED plug on the back does not hold the included LED securely and ultimately, it isn''t really worth using an LED at all because it does not color the coolant at all. I''m using plain distilled water for fear of dye potentially gunking up my water blocks and I thought the LED would at least give the appearance of colored coolant in the reservoir window but alas, the LED only acts like a small, bright circular light. However, I''m using a red LED and even though the coolant is not taking on any color from the LED, the single red eye is very HAL 9000 and I''m really liking it in that regard.
Not what I hoped for

Obtained this res/pump in my XSPC EX240 kit, which I have been using for 4 months now. First couple months this thing did great. However, recent inspection has shown that the top plate does not fit as securely as hoped, and when I turn the computer off and the water settles, I can run my finger along the back edge of the res and find a small amount of coolant. This is a little upsetting, and I have found a number of other people online are having issues with this res. I dunno if it was just a bad batch or what, but I will be replacing this res in the very near future.
Awesome

Great combo at a great price. Has a nice capacity and was very easy to install and fill. The only problem I had was it is a bit wider then a dvd drive and my case had a had time fitting over it (Fulmo GT).
Great Pump, bayres

Got this with my Raystorm D5 kit. It installed fine in my Roswill Blackhawk-Ultra, but is just barely long enough to make it to the screws hole inside. This is more the cases fault than the res though. I also had trouble getting it primed, but sucking on the output tubing got it started.
The only thing that was annoying is the led will not stay in the clear plug. It is to small and just falls out, but a little super glue fixed that.
