The XSPC Raystorm RS240 Extreme Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit comes complete with everything you will need to cool your CPU. This kit is designed to handle your CPU and can be expanded to handle more blocks as well.
The kit uses the newest XSPC CPU block, the Raystorm as the core cooling component. This block has a pure copper base and is a top of the line in performance and looks. XSPC coupled this with their RS240 radiator which is a thin profile radiator giving more flexibility with compatibility.
The reservoir is a combination of the XSPC dual bay reservoir along with a XSPC X20 750 pump. This pump has been revised and is much more reliable than previous revisions. It is now injection molded for seamless joints and this new revision 4 model is a black color.
This kit comes compete with all fittings, clamps, fans, mounting hardware and hose.
Note: Kit does NOT come with fluid or additive.

Great intro to custom loops

I have been toying with H60 and H100 in the past but finally decided to try my hand at a custom loop. I can really see how this can become an addiction. Working fine so far and will be adding a XSPC GTX 680 Razor block and RX240 rad to the loop this weekend so I am hoping to continue to be impressed.
A little warning about this kit.....

When I first installed this kit is was great. quiet and efficient and keeping the temps down really well. So I decided to add a chipset water block to a new motherboard and that''s when things got tricky. the draining of this thing is impossible!!! Also, if you plan on expanding at all don''t buy this kit. Once it''s in place leave it!!! After you drain it once thing gets loud and temps get wonky. if you bought this kit and are just cooling a CPU great. If you bought this and plan to expand look elsewhere. Sorry for my glowing review earlier. Didn''t know the ins and outs of water cooling then. However I have learned a valuable lesson now to the tune of 200$ for a new res and pump combo.
Amazing for the price!

This water cooler competes with all other custom builds you could possibly think of that have the same specs. I was expecting a marginal decrease in temperature from my cpu but I got an extreme temperature decrease. My cpu is a amd fx 8150 on a gigybyte 970-a-ud3 rev 3 mobo and as everyone that has this cpu or any other amd cpu they know that it runs hot! Before this cooler I had a aftermarket air cooler that gave me about a 50C temp on stock cpu settings running prime 95. The raystorm 750 gives me a 35C temp on stock settings that was a total shocker to me. I can achive a 4600mhz overclock on my amd fx 8150 with this cooler easily but I got a finiky cpu so thats all the further I could overclock it without issues. At my 4600mhz OC my temps were around 50C. Due to power consumption (damn you amd!) I had to back that OC to 4200mhz and have got it running stably at 38C max temp running prime 95. I would just like to add that all my temp tests are done useing prime 95 and also that my aftermarket air cooler at a 4300 mhz OC would go above 90C when running prime 95 just to give you a little perspective on how good this cooler really is! Anyways this is an amazing cooler and its only 150$!!!!! Buy one of these and you will not be disappointed!
what a wonderful little kit.....

Having been an air cooling guy since the 90''s it was very skeptical this water cooling thing would be fun. I couldn''t have been more wrong. Only a few things I changed out. The barb fittings made me nervous so I spent a little extra on compression fittings. Went with the cheapest I could find and they are holding fine now for a month. This kit was a joy to put in and totally stress free when it came to the instructions. YouTube helps too. Make sure your brand name specific when searching Youtube. Found this guy doing the exact kit in a three part series. I watched it a million times and knew what to do when and where. Thanks to XSPC and FrozenCPU.

Great for starter. Highly recommended if your looking to do your first wc. This kit is great but be careful cause it is a hit and miss on the pump. I didn''t want to deal with the hassle of a restocking fee so I bought a new pump from my local store. Beside the pump, everything is great and easy to install.
