The Illuminated Bulgin Vandal Switch is a momentary switch that is the ideal switch for modding enthusiasts. The ring around the switch always glows, making it easy to find in the dark. Easy to install and will fit on a regular 5.25 drive cover or wherever you chose.

Manufactured from marine grade Stainless Steel, Bulgin's extensive range of vandal resistant security switches are designed for use in potentially hostile environments, such as access control applications, hazardous weather areas or for your computer in your living room.

Note: The LED runs on 3.0V DC. You will need a resistor in the line to power the LED from either your motherboard's 5V DC output or your Power Supply's 12V DC output. You can run the LED directly off of the motherboard's 3.3V LED headers without any resistor.

We were informed that the correct resistors for the switch's LED are the following:

12 V DC source: 420 ohms
5 V DC source: 70 ohms

FrozenCPU.com cannot be held responsible if the LED is burnt-out from application of too much power. Please make sure your are outputting the correct power before connecting the LED.

Please be very careful with the power you apply to the LED - we cannot accept any returns of switches that have a burnt out LED.
