In response to the overwhelming demand for a quieter MCP650, Swiftech is proud to introduce the new MCP655 pump, which features several key improvements.
Considerably reduced audible operating noise: the high pitch frequency of the MCP655 is now eliminated thanks to a new chipset controller.
Head and flow characteristics have slightly improved in the midrange
The MCP655 pump is a high reliability, high pressure industrial pump, featuring a 50,000 hour MTBF (5 year lifetime). Such reliability is afforded by the unique design of this pump, which contains only one moving part: the magnetically driven spherical impeller spins on a single ceramic bearing, thus extending the life of this pump beyond existing standards.
The pump is completely plug-and-play, and connects directly to any computer power-supply through standard 4 pin power connectors. It's compact design, quiet and powerful motor make it ideally suited for heavy duty cooling in environments where space is at a premium.

Note: 3/8" ID Conversion Kit is supplied unassembled.
Users are reminded that disassembling their pump for any reason, including for the purpose of upgrading the housing, automatically voids the pump warranty. (Excludes Swiftech Pump Accessories)

Have had one with no problem for about 2+ years now and just bought a second one to run dual pumps. So far, both are still running like champs!

This thing moves a ton of water. If the motor on my boat ever goes out I could probably hold this in the water and drive my boat. 580x2, CPU, 2 triple rads, this thing doesn''t even open its eyes or get out of bed. Amazing.
Only pump I will ever use

In the last 4 years, I''ve had two of these pumps (MCP655-B).
They push some serious flow throughout my entire LC loop and are very reliable doing so.
The first one seized after about 2 years of 24/7 operation, and the second one seized last week after approximately the same life span. To top it off, I was able to take the remains of the old one and rebuild the new one, which is now back in my PC and functional again.
You can''t go wrong with this pump. I rarely write reviews, and I am so pleased with this pump I felt the need to log in and write one.
So far so nice

Got this one march 2009. Slightly noisy (you can hear how pump changing RPM''s when you adjusting the speed)and really reliable. Itv''e been Three years, two PC cases and one cleaning maintenance,(it sucked a little Teflon tape by my mistake) this Pump are really piece of HARDware. My next build is this one only.
