I used this to replace the front fan in my Thermaltake Lanbox. It has the same size and LED but is capable of moving more air. The sound raises at full speed but it isn''t an annoying pitch or otherwise intolerable. Mine was missing the temperature probe but I had some spare probes left over from a Sunbeam "Chromatic Windmill" that actually fit the small two-wire fan speed controller connection.

I don''t have much to compare it to, but works nicely on my thermalright XP90c and has worked nicely for years. I always have it on high and it really doesn''t seem that loud to me but I guess it depends on your case and what you consider loud
