The DX1™ is the ultimate input experience for anyone who spends many hours with a PC. The system lets you customize key placement and key function to reduce multiple command operations into a single key press.

Everybody has unique hands, so why should we use identical keyboards? The DX1 is molded by you to be as convenient and comfortable as possible. Place as many or as few keys as you like on the tray and then program each key to perform many commands in a row!

First place the keys on the tray in a position that fits your hand. Play with different key placements; you’ll be surprised how many different spots work well!

Then, define each key’s function, such as:

- a string of commands to perform, or
- a block of text to enter, or
- launch a browser and take you to a website.
- Commands can be as simple or complex as you want - the DX1 has the power to meet your needs

The two buttons (Assign / Record) in the upper right-hand corner allow you to assign macros on-the-fly. While in-game (or in-application) stick a new key in place, record the macro and keep on trucking!

Removing the keys simply requires you to twist the key and it will pop off, no need to pry it off with a screw driver or any other nonsense. Plus the clear tray can be removed so you can have multiple trays with multiple key combos. You can put backgrounds behind the tray to theme your DX1™ or simply to remind you what key does what.

In games like Battlefield 2 you can switch to the grenade, throw the grenade, switch back to the main gun, exit the vehicle and you’re your parachute - all before your helicopter crashes and all on one key!

Or in World of Warcraft you could cast several spells - like attack the nearest target, charge, sinder armor times 5, and execute – all with a single key press.

The DX1 isn’t only useful for gaming. It is a godsend for complex workplace software like Photoshop or Fireworks. You can perform a list of actions, such as resizing a picture, applying stroke, and optimizing it for the web, in that order, all on one key.
