EL cable stands for Electro-Luminescent cable. It's basically a long strand of flexible neon glowing wire. Each kit consists of 5 feet of cabling and an inverter. Shown in blue in bottom photo.
An excellent use of EL cable is actually tucking it in our molding as a locking strip, beautifully accenting the outline of the window.

Blue El Wire Kit

I bought two of these kits for my full size case. I have one wraped around my 24pin PSU cable, and another around most of my Liquid Cooling tubing. Even with intense UV light on them, they still outshine anything in my case! The transformers are small, and tuck behind my HDD bays. They had sticky pads and mounting screws. If you want a quick EL Wire kit, but don''t want to build one yourself (very hard to do) this is a great kit! wire is thin, bright, and strong! A Must-Have for any serious modder!
