I had an original 1030 mat and loved it until the rubber base rippled from years of use. I opted for the F30.R to replace it because I only used the rough side and wanted a larger mat. The updated cord clip is an improvement and the surface feels great. The non-slip backing doesn''t allow the pad to slide around. This "small" mat is plenty large. My only gripe with the mat is that it is a light gray/blue color that looks faded right out of the package. The picture shows a black/charcoal mat which is what I expected. I probably would not have purchased had I known. Only dinged one star due to the color because most probably wouldn''t care.

i noticed nobady has reviewed this mouse pad, and after over a year of ownership, IT ROCKS!!!! no wear, super slick but with tons of control and good texture. easy to clean and doesnt move. i would give this 5000 stars if i could GREAT PAD!!!!looks nice too and is still a beauty next to my razer copperhead and lycosa keyboard... BUY THIS!!
