Koolance's flow meter provides a visual and electronic indicator of real-time coolant flow rate. It is compatible with Koolance TMS, which also allows the internal blue LED lighting to be turned on, off, or pulse according to flow rate. Compatible with 1/4" (6mm), 3/8" (10mm), or 1/2" (13mm) ID G 1/4" threaded nozzles.

I have had two of these flow meters in three months. Both stopped turning within a month. The plastic bushings don''t last very long. I''m using distilled water only. Nothing that would have the deterioration of the bushings. I don''t recommend unless you plan on draining your system and replacing the meter every month or so.

This is actually a great product. I know some say the light didn''t work for long, but maybe they got an older version? Mine works perfectly. I can set the light to on/off or what they call "syn", which means the light will strobe to the pulse of the rotating turbine inside. But, make sure (if you don''t have it already) you get the adaptor board for it as well. It is not sold with this flow sensor. This plugs into that adapter board which converts the turbine pulse into a readable signal by a motherboard fan plug. I''ve set mine up on the CPU Fan plug and I can now set an alarm on the RPMs for this cool little lighted flow sensor. I believe the reason it is not sold together is so that if you ever had a problem with the flow sensor and had to replace it, you don''t have to buy the adaptor board again, which makes perfect sense. Great product...I love it. I can now rest easy that if anything happened to my water-cooling pump, this little gadget will trigger an alarm to let me know something is wrong.

Lights work fine -But you must use Flow meter Frequency Adapter From Koolance . Reads RPM for CPU fan And Light. Koolance Shuld sale all parts in one box but don''t.

Yeah, so you plug it in and in about 25 seconds the led turns from blue to orange and then dies. That''s because its shorted out. (yeah, guess non conductive additive is actually kinda conductive) Works fine as a flow sensor.
