Koolance's flow meter provides a visual and electronic indicator of real-time coolant flow rate. It is compatible with Koolance TMS, which also allows the internal blue LED lighting to be turned on, off, or pulse according to flow rate. Compatible with 1/4" (6mm), 3/8" (10mm), or 1/2" (13mm) ID G 1/4" threaded nozzles.

i am getting ready to put a cooling system together and i am going to go with Koolance INS-FM17N Coolant Flow Meter a little less pricey but u will have to deal with the lite going out.

As others have said, the impeller bushings wear out. This cost me 2 4890 ATI video cards. The impeller stalled, blocking the water coolant and overheating both video cards.

Very noisy clicky sound whenever you have a flow going through this meter, although everything else works just fine...

Unit works great when used with the optional control board to read RPM on your motherboard fan monitor. Purchased 2 of these. Longest life - 14 months. The plastic bushing wears out, stalling the impeller. Using Swiftech HydrX coolant.

I took the first unit apart and found that the rotor has a fixed stainless shaft the runs in brass bushings in the housing. The brass bushings wear out. I am going to drill and sleeve the bushings.
