The Black Ice GTX Xtreme Radiator brings true next generation PC Radiator technology to a higher level of performance. Using the new GTX platform, the GTX provides twice the liquid heat transfer surface area with a unique pre-cool/aftercool coolant flow configuration which increases heat transfer efficiency and internal system flow rates. The first effective dual core PC radiator. High performance and quiet operation no longer need to be a compromise.
*Two-pass pre-cool/aftercool front-rear dual-core flow configuration with a 30% increase in internal flow rates.
* Custom MaxFin™ 25 micron Copper Splitter Fin Configuration utilizing 45% thinner fin material yielding up to 50% less pressure drop.
* Unique fin configuration eliminates intra-louver accumulation of dust particles for trouble free operation.
* Radically optimized 20 FPI (Fins Per Inch) fin density providing dramatically increased heat transfer surface area.
* Custom low-profile 2-row 19.0 x 1.2mm MaxFlow™ tubes with twice the waterside surface area of the GTS and 60% frontal area reduction for superior low air-resistance aerodynamics and lower internal flow requirements.
- Yields up to 45% more heat exchange capacity than the Black Ice® Xtreme in both Stealth or Performance modes.
- Achieves Black Ice® Xtreme level performance in stealth mode (low-noise/low-airflow conditions).
- M4 Threaded Screw Holes for easier mounting and greater adaptability.
- Now standard G 1/4" female threaded fittings.
- Full high-temper brass structural construction for weight reduction and superior corrosion resistance.
- High performance compact radiator compatible as an upgrade to the Black Ice® Xtreme and most 120mm form factor radiators.
- Uses 100% Non-corrosive water-solluble fluxing process.
- Fully RoHS compliant.
- Full electrostatic polyurethane painting finish for uniform coating with high temperature curing for increased finish durability.
- Renowned Black Ice® quality.
- Patent Pending Design.

This radiator is part of my first water cooled rig and I chose this one over other brands because of its high number of positive reviews. This radiator is cooling an i7 3930k OCd to 4.2 Ghz as well as two GTX 680s and my temps are outstanding. My CPU does not go above 65C while running prime95 for four hours and my 680s hover in the low 40s when running 3dMark or Unigine. I''m using a push/pull fan configuration to squeeze as much performance as possible out of this radiator but I think anyone would be happy with using either method by itself. Flushing the radiator was not too much of a problem and I did not encounter any rust as a reviewer mentioned with 240mm version, just the usual black specks. Even those were not numerous. I can''t speak for other brands since I am new to water cooling, but this radiator works very well and I have no regrets.
Almost perfect

I am using 4 of these and a single variant in an extended ascension MM case with 108 cfm fans. Cools my rig to ambient while idling and 15c above when loaded with games or stress tests. The only down side to these was that the screw holes on mine weren''t drilled correctly which made fastening these to my case a bit tough.
Black Ice R+D nailed it with this one.

This works better mounted to the top inside of the case, than a Swiftech triple 120 mounted outside of the case! I used the same medium speed fans for both configurations, and the loop consisted of two GPU''s (GTX590), and an I7-2600k. The CPU temp (with the Black Ice rad inside)is almost 10 deg c lower than the Swiftech tripple outside! This RAD is worth every penny and more.
EXCELLENT!!!

This was the first radiator I ever purchased and I could not be happier with it. Construction is excellent and provides great temps. I would purchase again.

After much debate, I settled on this rad to cool the hot side of my peltier chiller. Replacing a single pass 120mm single fan radiator, I saw dramatic improvements. Chilled water temps went from 51F average to 42F. (72-74F ambient) Which is an enormous difference. I wound up having to overclock the cpu to avoid condesation problems, a very good problem to have!
Although I hadn''t planned on spending this much money, it was certainly worth it.
