The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro W/ PWM Fan - (ACFZ7-PRO) has been revamped to be compatible with PWM controlling motherboards. It is compatible with all Intel Celeron (Socket 775), all Intel Pentium 4 (Socket 775), all Intel Pentium D, all Intel Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 Extreme Quad chips. With the easy installation and low noise features of this cooler it is simply too easy of a choice!

Cooling is OK. Much noiser than expected, cheap plastic mounting clips. Not recommended.

bough it on sale here should have bought all 3 at the same time.. bummer..
it was quite easy to install on a matx board did have to remove the fan not a BIG task snap on and off type of deal scraped the grease off and went with arctic 5 it is quiet the built in PWM chip works good with the bios and keeps it quiet. not too sure about how tight it sitis on the chip but im sure one can bend the mounts slightly to accomodate. i will be buying 2 more. avg temp 33-39c

Removed the thermal grease it shipped with and added Artic 5. This fan snapped right on with no difficulties. Runs pretty quiet and keeps my E6600 at 29C. Haven''t Overclocked the system yet but think as long as you don''t go crazy this HSF can still handle the job.
