I bought this as a replacement for the LED strip on my car''s tailfin because the original was not incased in anything but a red lense of plastic. So when I went to replace it, it turned to dust. This was a great replacement because it is incased in gel and is waterproof. It is super bright and I can see this as a great mod for computers as well since it is flexible rather then a straight light bar. I would say that if you buy this, sleeve the main wires, they are a tad thin. I am glad frozencpu had this product since I could find no other replacement for my car.

I think the issue with this LED strip is that the heat-shrinking for the wires is done ''outside'' the plastic piece that all the actual LEDs sit in, so the wire has a lot of extra play. I''m not positive if I did it or it came this way but the negative wire going into the LED strip was busted immediatly outside of the plastic LED holder. I will order another and see if the exact same thing happens. Bad stuff when it completely puts a stop to a custom project log.

every time I attach it it comes off the two sided tape. after going threw all three sides I finally settled on using a clear zip tie to hold it in place 3 lights burnt out allready after only 4 days of use. the upside its bright.
