This certainly adds that little extra protection and eye candy. The only "con" I could find is that due to the "ambidexterity" of the product, lining it up just right can be a little tricky. If you have any problems getting your hands into small tight places this might also give you a few issues. The extra protection is well worth the time and price however, with high-end motherboards arcing upwards of $280.
