The Zalman VF1000 LED VGA Cooler is the most universal VGA air cooler to date. Using mounts in all 6 installation locations this cooler fits nearly all cards including Nvidia 8800 series. Add the ZM-RHS88 to completely cool you 8800 series.

Totally silent at low speed. There were some issues when installing on an ATI X1950:
I just installed a Zalman VF1000 Led Graphics cooler on an X1950.
Results (At Idle):
Original Graphics Card Cooler: PCB Temp: 51 GPU Temp: 55.4 Fan Speed: 31% Zalman VF1000 LED Graphics Cooler PCB Temp: 33 GPU Temp: 38 Zalman Fan Controller
BUT, there are some issues. For one, Zalman only gives you 8 of those little blue Ram heatsinks.......and you need one more Big one for a bigger chip on the board (Voltage controller?)
I decided to use the big horshoe looking copper looking thingie (it''s just copper coated aluminum btw) that was there originally. However, I had to grind the fins down for the Zalman to fit......about 3/16ths or so. It just unscrews with 4 screws and has the tape thermal dealies. Careful you don''t lose one. Took awhile to grind that much down, but I got a metal cutoff saw that worked by pressing the fins up against the flat of the blade while it was spinning. Also have a belt sander table top model that worked well.
Also I used that 7 Carat Diamond thermal paste.......good stuff.....once it settles in the temps should be even lower.............z
Cooler very ineffective

This was a great design but this comes nowhere close to the performance of a Thermalright HR03 Plus on any NVIDIA 8800 GTS/X. This may be cheaper but not worth your time or investment. Poor fan speen control and cooling effectiveness minimized because of the placement of the fan.
WOW!!!!

I had to add to this review; this cooler rocks and with the included video ram coolers provided it is an all in one solution to cool most of the fast gpus. check this http://www.techenclave.com/graphic-cards/help-regarding-xfx-8600gt-105201-5.html
Fantastic results!!!

My GPU temps dropped 15C over stock cooling! If you get this, get the RAM heatsink kit as well. However, there is one semi-serious problem with this heatsink. I have two 8800GTS''s (G80) and I can''t use my solid SLi bridge. One of the heatpipe ends protrudes high enough to block it from being installed. If you plan to install a couple of these on an SLi system, you''ll also have to get a flexible SLi bridge.
Baddest MOFO!!!

I have tried many other coolers (Duorb)ect. and they dont even come close to this one! My idle temps went from 60c to 44c, load temps 70c to 56c running 3DMark06 and Crysis all highest settings with being over clocked 675/2000 on 8800GTXOC. I highly recomend the optioal ram heatsink for $29.95 It not only cools the ram but the GPU also. When I get second card I will be getting second cooler for sure.
