I received my PC-A70B tower a couple of weeks ago. Purchasing the tower was the first step in ''doing it right'' this time. And, man-oh-man, did I do it right! Lian Li makes an absolutely amazing and beautiful product. The tower is massive, black, and finished in a perfectly modern and stylish brushed aluminum. The inside of the case is equally stunning; from the plethora of fans to the relocatable HDD cage and PSU position. The fit and finish of this product is beyond compare, and it''s abundantly evident that the brains behind Lian Li are doing their homework. The internal layout and ease of assembly/disassembly attests to many hours of careful contemplation and stringent quality control. In a nutshell; perfect.

The new PC-A70 and PC-A71 series of “classic” cases from Lian Li has excellent airflow and is perfect for over clocked systems as well as servers. There are essentially four 120mm intake air fans: two take in cool air from the outside and blow into the hard drive cage while two more 120mm fans pull the air from the hard drive cage and blow it onto the motherboard. If you want to water cool your system, then just mount the power supply at the bottom of the case and you’ll have room for a three 120mm fan radiator mounted under the top panel.
I had Frozen CPU install the sound dampening material as well as the black handles. The dampening material keeps the vibration noise down while the case’s airflow keeps the temperatures from going up. I replaced the stock fans with the quiet fans from Noctua to produce a case that is both “silent” (relatively speaking) and also allows me to over clock my air-cooled components. Coupled with Lian Li’s excellent fit and finish, I couldn’t ask for more in a computer case.
