This cable is designed to allow you to reset your BIOS by just toggling this switch for 5 seconds when the computer is turned off. The switch normally stays in the ON position, letting the BIOS run normally. When you switch it to the OFF position, the BIOS will reset itself, returning to its factory default settings. This cable is a god-send to those who like to overclock their computer to the absolute bleeding edge - never mess with the silly, little BIOS jumper again!
