The NH-U12P continues the legacy of Noctua's classic NH-U coolers, which won over 150 awards and recommendations from leading international websites and magazines. While retaining the successful design and the well-proven SecuFirm™ mounting system, the newest revision has been reworked for enhanced main board compatibility and now comes with Noctua's NT-H1 pro-grade thermal compound. Fitted with the new NF-P12 premium fan, the NH-U12P brings its predecessors' much-acclaimed quiet cooling performance to a whole new level!

Excellent cooler

Installed on a QX9770 with factory voltages, etc. Installed with two fans, same fan on both sides.
Cools very well, about 100F at idle and 140F at full load. It is very quiet. Very, very quiet. Wish they made this in copper. The fan installation has to take place after the cooler is installed, and is a bit tricky given the size of the cooler.
But it cools very well and is very quiet.

Seriously, I can''t stand the noise from everything else!! The system runs almost with out noise, which brings the noise from other things to my attention :)
Q9550 @ 3.79 ghz with out problems, I think I could reach 4 ghz and still have decent temperatures with it.
Currently testing push/pull Noctua fan configuration... and got a little better results.
Awesome cooler

I''ve got a C2D E8400 overclocked to 4GHz being cooled by this baby. Unlike the TRUE, there is no clearance issues on my DFI DK P35 board. It''s a little pricey but well worth it.
