The CoolerMaster 120x25mm Dual Ball Silent Fan is a high performance 120mm LED fan comes with a thermal sensor and a manual speed controller. With dual ball bearings and a very quiet rating of 16.5dBA this fan will meet your silent needs for a long time! The Blue LED is a very nice touch as well.

The first two reviewers have it pretty straight. I used the short trick too and am very happy. The airflow when I am gaming is great and the variable airflow lets me turn the noise down when I am just surfing. You won''t find better.

These fans kick serious tail!...They come w a combo rheostat/ thermal sensor...both of which have short 2 pin tails. All one has to do is short one set of tails...then the fan will work (with an external fan controller)via the normal3pin/molex wires also included without losing LED brightness.
Overall Excellent, but some drawbacks

This fan looks very nice, and can be very quiet if turned down to 1600rpm or below. The 16.5 dBA is only at the slowest speed of 800rpm. At full speed you definitely hear it! I found that about 1400rpm is an ideal balance between noise and airflow for my needs.
That all said there is a definate drawback to this fan that does bother me some. That is that the fan speed can NOT be adjusted without installing the "Controls" that are included with it. Without hooking up these controls the fan is stuck at 800rpm. For someone who has a separate fan controller, like myself, or who would like to let the MB control the fan, you are out of luck unless you jury-rig the whole thing together in series. That said if you do manage to jury-rig it together, and do attempt to use a different control, you will notice that the LED''s dim as you slow down the fan, because it is cutting voltage to the fan, and it is affecting the LED''s as well as the fan speed.
However, the one nice thing about the other control, and why I ended up using it despite it''s annoyances, is that you can control the fan speed WITHOUT affecting the LED brightness. Which IMHO is pretty slick.
As I said in the title though, this fan is overall excellent, and I am glad I got it!
