The Akasa Thermal Adhesive Tape is a highly effective thermal interface designed for bonding heatsinks to chipsets or other components requiring strong fixing in a hot environment.

Note: Provides semi-permanent bonding, not design for quick removal, not recommended for CPU / GPU usage.

Installation

1. Ensure both surfaces are completely clean and free from oil or other contaminants. Clean with Isopropyl or Akasa TIMclean

2. Cut tape to size. Remove yellow protective liner from one side and apply to device using moderate pressure. Remove orange protective cover from the other side and carefully position the device in place using moderate pressure. Take care to position the device correctly first time. The device can be used immediately after bonding.

3. Unused tape can be stored safely at room temperature in a dry environment.

To the guy below "iTRIEDit", this tape is not meant to hold a CPU heatsink to a CPU. It specifically says "not intended for CPU or GPU use." It''s meant for lightweight chipset heatsinks, such as Swiftech MC 14 RAMsinks and MC 21 MOSFETsinks. Make sure both the heatsink and component are thoroughly cleaned before applying tape for the strongest hold.

will not hold cpu cooler block to cpu tried it on amd socket A /462. also tried a different block for socket 370 still fell off works good on mod lights .
