Just wanted to say thanks on the mention of the 3u case, it''s a shot in the dark a lot of times to find a good cooler that actually fits into a 3u. Without your review, I might have skipped this cooler, as it appears quite tall in the pics. A lot of "low profile" coolers are either too loud, or just don''t work like expected. Thanks again on the info.

Pro: It fit the odd space shape that I had in my 3u rack mount case. It installed easily. The average temp of the CPU dropped from 135degF to 113degF, I consider that a substantial difference. I feel it''s doing a great job. Cons: Reading the other reviews, I went ahead and got two fans. I think this helped a great deal. I bought aluminium fans and putting them on the shroud was a bit of a squeeze. I also had to use a Dremmel to cut off ALL excess from the bolt so that they were flush with the side of the shroud that faces the radiator. This took a lot of setup time before the install.
