Unmatched Cooling Performance
Featuring 4 heat pipes, 30 fins and 2 PWM fans, the Accelero TWIN TURBO optimises airflow to 40 CFM, and achieves up to 120 Watt cooling capacity. Together with memory and voltage regulator cooling, this new VGA cooler gives enthusiasts a very promising result – 26°C lower than the nVIDIA GeForce 9600GT stock cooler. With such phenomenal cooling performance, the Accelero TWIN TURBO also maximizes the overclocking potential and extends the service life of your graphics card.
Cooling Performance with NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT
Ambient Temperature: 24°C
Accelero TWIN TURBO at 1500 RPM: 45°C
Accelero TWIN TURBO at 2000 RPM: 41°C
Stock Cooler at 2700 RPM: 79°C

The Art of Silence
Low noise impeller and patented fan holder are installed in the two 80mm PWM fans. This unique design reduces the humming sounds significantly and brings the noise level down to 0.6 sone, compared with 1.3 sone of noise generated from the stock cooler.
Noise Level with NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT
Accelero TWIN TURBO at 1500 RPM: 0.2 Sone
Accelero TWIN TURBO at 2000 RPM: 0.6 Sone
Stock Cooler at 2700 RPM: 1.2 Sone

Flexible Mounting System
The universal design for the Accelero Twin Turbo supports the hottest graphics cards in the market, from nVIDIA GeForce 9600GT to ATI Radeon HD4870, 4850 and many more! It also comes with 2 fan plugs for direct power connection to the VGA card and thus the fans can be controlled by the VGA software.

I replaced the burnt out cooler on my 4870 with the twin turbo. Wow...I am running it at full speed and it is still more quite than the stock cooler at 40%!! Installation was pretty easy. I used artic thermal adhesive instead of the pre applied tape. One word of warning is to be sure the heatsinks for the memory will not get in the way of the heatpipes on the cooler. I had to trim one side of mine on an angle on order to make everything fit.
WOW

This cooler took my card from 55ºc to 38ºc at idle and from 98ºc after a minute of furmark to 65ºc. I highly recommend this cooler for anyone even considering an ATI 4870 cause they run very hot and this cooler definately tames the beast...
Good Stuff

This thing works really well. It includes 8 memory heatsinks and 4 voltage regulator heatsinks. I have a Radeon HD4870 and this thing pwnt the original stock cooler that it came with.
With the ambient temperature in my room at 25C, I was getting readouts of 70C idle and 85C load with the original cooler at 30% fan speed.
With the Twin Turbo and my room at 25C I''m seeing readouts of 45C idle and 56C load, with the fan speed at 50%, which is a little quieter than the reference design cooler at 30%. Even at 100% its only as loud as the original HSF at 40%.
That difference in temperature alone is awesome, I don''t have to worry or ever think about it again now. Highly recommended.
Last thought: make sure you scrub the memory and other parts clean before you apply any adhesives for the best binding.
