The EK Dual Bay SPIN Reservoir w/ Flow Meter - Plexi is not just the same boring reservoir. The Spin Reservoir is made of quality Acrylic material with an Acryilc front that is 5mm thick. The water flows over the flow indicator which shows the water is actually cycling through the system. Water flows then to a waterfall on the front of the Acrylic cover and into the reservoir. On top of the reservoir is fill port. The reservoir fits any two standard 5.25" drive bays.

Looks amazing, but will require some work.

This bay will NOT fit into most new cases without a bit of work. The retention flaps in each slot that your spin bay occupies will need to be bent for this to fit at all. My HAF 932 is QUITE sturdy and put up quite a fight with this install... either way it worked eventually and now all is great. would definitely recommend this product to others.

After about 1 year of use it started leaking... luckily it "only" killed my Blu-ray drive.
Not for MCP655

Pros: Really nice construction and looks really cool.
Cons: With a really powerful pump (ie. MCP655) the amount of bubbles it produces makes it useless. I have to put the pump at the lowest speed to make it work and it still generates bubbles!
The red spinner started making sounds after 5 minutes use.
FrozenCPU is Great as usual, the reservoir however is more of aesthetics than functionality.

With all the water blocks in the loop it seems to slow down the pump enough for most of the bubble problem to stop. However there are still some small bubbles getting formed and going into the loop.
Waste of space

Pros: Easy to light with an LED. Up front flow meter lets you know things are working
Cons: I wanted a dual bay resevoir so I could have more water than a single bay resevoir provides. If you compare the specs this resevoir holds 250ml instead of the 200ml that standard single bay resevoirs hold. The reason for this is that this resevoir is extra shallow. It''s only 2.4" deep.
This dual bay resevoir doesn''t slide into your case without modifications. I had to bend the supports that are between each bay to fit this in.
I''d recommend the dual bay XSPC resevoir over this.
