The full metal Koolance RAM-33 joins the RAM-35 in being the most efficient liquid cooled memory products available. Koolance's (patent-pending) memory coolers physically run liquid along both sides of every DDR3, DDR2, DDR, FB-DIMM, or SD DIMM. This occurs all the way down to the bottom of every chip!

Competing products offer only partial coverage at best. Usually, liquid is simply run above two RAM heat sinks which extend in between banks, and most of these are not available in single slot solutions. Koolance memory products get liquid directly over every module.

The RAM-33 is fully expandable-- water cool 1, 2, or even 16+ consecutive DIMM slots using any manner of tubing configuration. G 1/4 threaded nozzles are provided directly above each block. Following the RAM-35, the RAM-33 includes many other innovations, from its staggered design which allows for contiguous slot cooling, to a convenient spring-hook style mounting method. Thermal interface material is included.

NOTES: To install the Koolance RAM-33 cooler, the memory's original heat spreaders or heat sinks (if any) should be removed in order to fit. If your memory sticks have heat spreaders, please verify these can be physically removed before purchasing the RAM-33.

I installed these blocks on all eight of my sticks with thermal pads 10 days prior to appling it to my water cooled loop. During that time I felt a lot of heat by touch on the blocks. Once I applied these blocks to the loop, I felt no heat at all. Over all these blocks work, hands down. I rated at 4 due to the high price.

I saw this on my friends build, the other review says it isn''t good for cooling, it''s f**king amazing for cooling, but you NEED to add a non conductive thermal paste or a thermal pad to your ram, otherwise as previously stated, the RAM won''t make contact with the waterblock. If you do add a thermal pad or thermal paste, it''s amazing

Due to the design, the ram hardly makes contact with the block, and doesn''t provide much cooling performance, making it more of a cover than actual heatsink. Regardless, the block(s) still look great, and because of this I don''t regret them. However, I find the pricing to be absurd, especially for a decoration. IMO this price should include a pair.
