Kind of Middle of the road here

Looks Awesome but the performance is just not there. AMD 955 and running Prime hits 65c ASAP a bit warm in my opinion. This is a good middle of the road performance CPU Cooler not at all good for upping CU Voltage to 1.4 /1.5 and shooting for 4 GHz. Plus this thing will hold you back. Google the reviews there are a bunch.
Why Thermaltake?

it may look appealing but thats all it has for it. naturally heat rises so the heat wont even make it to the bottom of the circular heat fins to be exhausted out of a case. Also the mounting on this this was horrible, I understand that they wanted to make it simple to mount but they even failed in doing that. All heatsink manufactures should do away with stupid pushpin mounts their newer version (unsure of its name) seems to work better because of its better design. if you like how the cooler looks you should look into the newer version.
After Using SpinQ For Awhile

I''ve decided that this heat sink puts out a little better than moderate performance. It does achieve normal temperature readings. The only thing is hat AM2 clip. It''s flimsy and does not lock the thing into place like all other heat sinks that I''ve seen. Wish it''s go faster than the 1480 rpms that it stays at all the time, which is %100.
Looks Great, Performs Not So Great

I just received/installed my new SpinQ CPU Air Cooler and I must say that aside from the look of the thing, I am not impressed at all! First off, there is no solid way of locking the fan/heat sink into the AM2 socket that I have.. just one flimsy clip in the center, looks like a wide V. I (after installing the thing) can grab the device and twist it from side to side a small margin.. it''s definitely just barely attached to my motherboard. Plus, he whole reason why I ordered this was to replace the Copper Butterfly heat sink that I already had installed because I wanted to drop the temperature down from between 95&100 degrees Fahrenheit. The computer I just built my friend has a core temp of about 55 Fahrenheit.. she doesn''t have this SpinQ heat sink.. and I don''t know why I figured this, but I thought that this one would give me the same performance as the one she has.. and I don''t have the model # handy of what hers is, but I was stunned to see such a low temperature. I have been VERY happy with everything I''ve seen come out of your warehouse recently.. but this, albeit pretty, heat sink blows!
What is with this mounting system?

I really love this cooler. I really HATE this kind of mounting system. Why can''t manufacturers realize that it really is the pits. I cut out all the "clip in" plastic junk and replaced it with nylon screw and nuts. Made a much more solid mount and it won''t fall off. Get cooler, trash mount.
