The Obsidian Series 800D is built to last through years of motherboard, power, memory, cooling, and component upgrades.
The steel structure has a matte black coating both inside out and is finished with a brushed aluminum faceplate for a professional look that’s both serious and awe-inspiring. A windowed side panel makes it easy to show off your work.
Chassis Features

Three fans included, with the ability to add four more 120mm fans
Tool-free optical drive installation makes building a system faster than ever
Two year warranty with Corsair’s world-class customer service and technical support
Three Isolated Cooling Zones
The power supply compartment, main compartment and the SATA bays each have dedicated cooling subsystems to prevent heat buildup.
A dust-filtered 140mm fan draws in cold air at the bottom of the chassis and exhausts it at the rear and top. This clever design forces fresh air directly over the graphics card and CPU. The SATA hot-swap bays are cooled by a separate 140mm fan which vents from the chassis via a sealed chamber and prevents the heat generated by the drives from entering the main compartment. The power supply compartment has its own dedicated intake and exhaust, also isolated from the main compartment.
Advanced Features for Extreme Flexibility
A four-drive SATA hot-swap drive bay sits in the front of the case, making it easier to install or swap hard drives on the fly. A unique cable routing system virtually eliminates cable clutter that can impede airflow. The tool-free design allows for easy entry, easy access, and quick installation of 5.25” drives.

this is a great case it has plenty of room and customer service is great in so meny ways when i bought this case the huge window you see in the pict was cracked in half and teh mobo cut out tray was missing a pin so i called the company they sent me an email and gave me a link to get a whole new door and tray totally free and they payed shipping corsair really is here for the consumer back to the case teh fans that come with it only push about 20cfm so i pulled them out and put in six deltas the brushed face of the case is really nice its really smooth not rough like most brushed finishes only problem i could find is prolly the weight it weights about 43lbs so with a full build with a rad your gunna b looking at 80lbs+ once its in the spot you want it your prolly not gunna be moving it all that much

I LOVE this Case by corsia.
I have 6 Hard drives, 4 Western Digital Green drives in the hot swap bays, thay were working fine, till i updated to the Obsidian Series® 800D SATA 6Gb/s Upgrade Kit.
Now i can not hot swap them when my pc is on.
Thay do read/write faster then before.
You can see some of my pics on youtube The wilfred007
Im still working on my own unboxing and review site like the 3DGAMEMAN, i have only the logitech C910 to work with so far hope to fix that.
Well worth the money!

For some its just a computer case but once you start working on the inside the difference between the corsair and other more standard designs is apparent. Even vs other full tower cases.
Everything goes in clean, included screws are strong. Water cooling mounts all over the unit(w/ grommets).
This case has what I consider "cable organization for dummies". There are ducts all over to funnel cables around in the back ground. Hard drive cage is covered in such a way that cables can''t be seen.
Only negative is the hot swap board, works great on most hard drives but my SSD''s would not be recognized. Fortunately it can be removed and turn into a standard HD cage.
5 1/2 bays are clean, my disc drive slid in with no problems.
Overall if you have been putting together computers since the early days, imagine all of your frustrations with cases and know that this one is so well designed that it throws them all out of the window. Not a master of origami? don''t need to be. Making your build look professional is as easy as sticking stuff in holes. Sides of the case come off clean with a button, removable CPU back plate for when you upgrade your stock cooling solution to something better ;)
