I installed 4 of these in my case with a G-Vans 4-Port inverter. One of them doesn''t light up all the way (almost but not quite), the others work fine. They look great but there is an annoying high pitch ring whenever they are on. It sounds like they are coming from the cathodes and not the inverter though. I don''t want to blame them til I figure out the source of the noise for sure but be advised.
 Change my review. 2 = "blood red" = Awesome!

I realized something, Once I found my other 12'''' red cathode tube, plugged them in and voila, the color changed from a bright orange color to an actual (dimmer) red. Yes, more of a "blood" red. Again, if you have one 12'''' cathode, it''s going to be brighter. Ordering more for a few projects.

I mean, there red but if your looking for blood red this isn''t it. It''s not FrozenCPU''s fault, it the company who makes it. But all that aside, these are bright! I have one on my side case (CM HAF 932) and they light up the room. I''m going to buy another one and a few extensions to achieve ambient lighting for my dual monitor setup.
Bottom line: BUY
FrozenCPU is the only company I know that sells the little knick knacks you need to achieve the mod you want.
