Very attractive to the eye and out-performs most other block in it''s price range.

Yet another outstanding product from EK. Nickel finish is flawless. Chills my i7 970 down to 15c idle and 31c with all cores at 100%
You can''t go wrong here.

This is by far the best block out there. The workmanship is flawless and its absolutely just beautiful. But its works better than any others.
Best performing cpu block available

This block is the best one that I''ve used so far. Past blocks include the one-time performance leader, the Heat Killer 3.0, and the well known Swiftech Apogee XT. Both of these blocks are very good, but they have their downfalls. The HeatKiller requires the purchase of a backplate, and there are none included with the block, while the Apogee XT is more complete and easier to mount, but it is extremely restrictive. The EK Supreme HF Full Nickel is the best of the three because of it''s performance, looks, and adaptability. The full nickel version slightly outperforms the acetal and plexi version, and is more preferable to the full copper version because the nickel coating will stop the block from tarnishing and corroding. Also, included with the EK Supreme HF is a series of jet plates, each with it''s own thermal and flow properties. The standard plate is a blend between thermal and flow performance, but for the absolute best performance, you should switch to Jet plate #1, which is the most restrictive. The only negative aspect that I can find about this block is its primitive mounting system. If you set it up correctly, it is perfectly easy to use.

This thing reduced my core I7 980X from 160 degrees F runing each core at 50%. Now it runs all 6 cores at 100% and it only runs at 132 degrees F.
Awesome Block, Tedious Install for AM3

First off, love the block. Great workmanship, mirror-smooth polish on the contact side, very sturdy. Performance is excellent as well, dropping my temps by an average of 15C.
The install and block are geared for Intel users, for sure. In order to use this block on other boards, you''ve got to disassemble it and attach the alternate mounting bracket. Not a huge deal, but definitely a one-star deduction for having to worry about getting the internal seals lined up perfectly.
Additionally, using any of the alternate flow plates requires opening up the block, so be ready for that!
All in all, however, I would still recommend this block wholeheartedly! Once installed, it''s simply fanstastic!
Nickel Tickle

Wow, got this block last week and installed it on my Core i7 965. Four words, "Are You Kidding Me?" That''s right, this block dropped my CPU temp at least 4-6C compare it to my Heatkiller 3.0. Overall quality is top notch, it would have been nice if it was polished more on top. Easy install, EK quality.
