Perfect solution for my Antec 1200.

After deciding to ditch my Zalman Reserator XT (which failed in the first six months forcing me to gut it and install a Swiftech MCP 655 replacing its dead pump and bypassing its uselessly over-complicated electronics) I opted to use the Antec 200mm radiator designed for the Antec 1200 and the XSPS reservoir. The Swiftech MCP 655 fit perfectly in the XSPS and, after a lengthy bleeding process of about an hour, it is totally silent and my CPU is 10F cooler. The only complaint would be that the mounting holes of the XSPS didn''t align with the Antec 1200 forcing me to drill them out a little and one of the press fit screw fittings of the XSPS pulled out requiring me to epoxy it back in. Great product and great service from FrozenCPU.

Great reservoir/Great quality

This is a awesome reservoir. I was surprised on how good the quality is this thing has a real solid feel and is definitely not of poor quality. It fits perfect in my Corsair 800D and looks great. I have this reservoir set up with a Swiftech MCP 655 and it fits like it should. I don''t know what more to say about a reservoir but if you are looking for a good pump/reservoir get this one.

Great Combo

This res/pump combo is great. If the single speed model of the pump is available, buy that because you can''t really access the back of the pump when it''s in the housing to change the speed if you get the variable model. Plus, when the hydraulics kick in after 30 seconds it doesn''t matter anyway. My only issue with this res is that (as has been mentioned by another reviewer) it''s a little hard to bleed air from the loop because the tube only ends about 3/8" from the mouth of the pump so air just gets sucked back in. To be honest though this doesn''t change my opinion of this product. Bleeding air is always a hassle no matter what setup you have and as long as you''re patient and run the loop for five or six hours while rotating the rad every once in awhile, it''ll bleed just fine.

Great product w/ minor issues

Well built product and very easy to install and use. Offering a choice of front plates was nice. It didn''t fit perfectly into my bays and the front plate was a tad to big to fit properly. My only real complaint is the tank inlet feeds almost directly into the pump inlet. While bleeding the lines for the first time it was very difficult to get the air out because the reservoir inlet would push the air straight into the pump without letting the air flow to the top. Overall I''m satisfied with the product.

Not bad, could be better

This thing works great for what it''s intended for. I bought this back in May and have assembled dissasembled and reassembled my loop 4 times. The only grip I have with it are those rubber grommets to make it fit in the 5.25" bays. They come out, they don''t really hold anything when you screw them in. Granted it works great to bleed and all that but those grommets make it lose a star. Use dish washing soap to lub them up before you put them in so they don''t stick and pop out, you''ll save some time.

way better than expected

This bay rez is amazing. I don''t know why you''d buy anything else. First of all they give you everything that you need, 2 different faceplates, optional led, detailed simple colored directions. I''m just astounded by the quality of this thing.

easy install

This has to be one of the easiest D5 bay res''s to setup that I have tried. Very quick and very simple design makes for a solid buid. My only problem with this res is that I need to use the lower mounting holes on an optical drive. this res only has the holes for the upper position. It does not fit in my case properly because of this. If it had the other mounting hole options I would have given this res a 5 star rating.

Awesome!

This thing is great! Easily houses a D5/Laing pump. The acrylic is well made and sturdy. The LED is optional, you can easily not connect it if you don''t want to. I got a minor scratch around the inlet/outlet side of the acrylic when trying to tighten the compression fittings, so be careful and make sure you have the right size tools!

Excellent Reservoir!

My EK Option2 res cracked so I needed a replacement. I didn''t want another tube res so I got this instead and so far its been working great! No leaks and the D5 is barely audible. Great res for the price!

helps clean up your case a lot!
