This was not my first water cooling kit I have bought. Just the first one I got from here. I have used others and this is a very nice set up for anyone that wants to build PC''s to sell or if you want a very quiet PC. The fans that was in the Alienware case was not very quiet. Now I do not know it is in the room.
I installed this kit in an Alienware Area 51 ALX case. Kit came with everything needed to install, but the custom screws needed to mount the rad and the water.
Only have one con. Just like the other Reviews. The AMD CPU mount needs some work. Not the best looking set up around, but holds the block in place just as good.
Over all I gave it 4 star, but for the money I have to give it the other star.

I have had this kit for around a week now. It comes exactly as described and keeps my Fx 6100 at 22 Degrees Celsius at 4.43 Ghz (I have push pull fans set up)Overall great kit, I''m planning to add a block to my graphics card and add another 240mm radiator.
Great starter kit!

Core i5-2500k OC to 5ghz load temps peak at 60c coming from a Thermaltake Frio that started to scare me reaching temps upwards of 75c! well worth $150 for a WC kit that is capable of cooling your video card as well!! If you can fit a triple rad this baby is for you!
Good bang for the buck.

Very impressed with the quality of the kit for it''s price. It''s performed far better then I expected. I knocked a star off because I received 1 bad bad screw with the Intel mounting hardware and the AMD hardware comes with no instructions and it''s finish looks like an afterthought.
Been running it for 5 months with no problems

Like the title says, Iv been running it for 5 months and haven''t had a single problem with it. This kit was my first try with water cooling (besides things like the H50) and it made it so easy. Only problem I ran into was because I hand tightened the barbs in, instead of using a 5/8th inch wrench, which I later fixed.
awsome

I forgot to mention my ambient temps on my previous review, the ambient temp on that test was 50Degrees (Celsius), so it is pretty cold at that time, I simulated my ambient temps during summer in my room turning on my heater til I hit my ambient temp to 80degrees and started to test my temps, My idle temps (on a simulated summer ambient temperature) is 40degrees and my temps under load got upto 55 degrees which is still way under my personal limit of 60degrees and not to mention that I did this tests on 4.1Ghz overclock (not 3.8) I remember during summer time w/ the Hyper 212+ I actually backed up my OC on my CPU to 3.6Ghz (From 3.8Ghz)since my temps was over 62degrees during summer time on air cooling. so being able to do 4.1Ghz on 80Degrees ambient temperature and getting my highest temp at 55 is pretty good, I wont have to downclock my CPU when summer time comes again.
Great budget water-cooling kit!

I decided to switch from air (CM Hyper 212+) to water-cooling for more overclocking room, I was reaching 60degrees Celsius with the hyper 212+ air cooling which is not bad for a 3.8Ghz overclock on a phenomII x4. I first installed this and I noticed something is wrong, since my temp is just on par w/ the air cooling, and then I realized that I forgot to remove the film that covers the cpu block, i removed that and I saw its real performance. Installation wasnt easy yet wasnt difficult either. I don''t know if they should come with instructions but I did not receive any instruction on installing the kit, but good thing I researched on how to install a kit before hand so I had a general idea on what to do and with a little use of common sense anyone would be able to do it without instructions.
Now for the stat wise here are my temps before and after (before meaning during air cooling w/ hyper 212+)
Note: I got no benchmarks w/ non-overclocked set-up, so sorry =P
All temps are in celsius and prime95 set-up was on maximum heat/performance test
Hyper 212+:
Idle : 33-37
Load : 59-62
XSPC Water Cooling kit:
Idle : 28-30 (not much improvement here)
Load : 40 (some spikes reach 44 but goes back to 40 w/ in 2seconds)
As you can see, the difference in idle isnt much, but the difference under load is HUGE, over 20degrees. this really is worth the money.
Other thoughts:
I only had this unit for 2days so if I do get any problem with the unit I will post up another review about it.

I purchased two of these kits on 2/20/2011 for my first wc''ing setup on an SR-2 board. I have read both good and bad reviews on this item all I can say is I have had no problems at all. First rate build on all of them they are very simple to setup and they perform extremly well. They are a great buy both for the money and the performance! I now have three of these kits plus two more of the pump setups alone all to this day perform just like the day I unpacked them.
